This tart and sweet drink is a perfect low-abv sipper for a hot summer day. The lavender syrup adds a beautiful floral note to it, and can be used in a whole host of other recipes as well.
4 oz Strawberry Solstice
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Lavender Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons dried lavender blossoms
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, stir to dissolve sugar, and let steep for 30 minutes
Strain through a mesh strainer and let cool. Syrup should keep ~1 week in the fridge, and can be used in lemonade, sparkling water, tea, or anything where you want a kick of sweet lavender!
Shake all ingredients over ice, strain into a coupe or martini glass, garnish with lemon peel.
