Oh you thought this was a joke?? We’re in our savory era, and what’s more savory than anchovies? This was a wild idea that we dreamed up, and we brought in our friends at Fishwife for their incredible Cantabrian Anchovies from Spain. Those were infused (alongside some carefully chosen botanicals) into this vermouth for one of the most unique flavor profiles you’ve probably ever tasted. The natural umami of the fish can work in a variety of different cocktails, so don’t be afraid to experiment.

FILTHY MARTINI
2 1/2 OZ GIN OR VODKA
1/2 OZ ANCHOVY VERMOUTH
1/2 OZ OLIVE BRINE
STIR OVER ICE, STRAIN INTO A MARTINI GLASS, AND GARNISH WITH 3 ANCHOVY STUFFED OLIVES

GRIZZLED MARINER
1 OZ RYE WHISKEY
3/4 OZ CAMPARI
3/4 OZ ANCHOVY VERMOUTH
1/2 OZ SWEET VERMOUTH (WE PREFER FRENCH OR SPANISH STYLE)
A SAVORY RIFF ON THE OLD PAL. SERVE OVER ICE, STRAIN INTO A ROCKS GLASS OVER A LARGE ICE CUBE, AND GARNISH WITH AN ORANGE PEEL.

2 OZ MEZCAL
1 OZ PINEAPPLE JUICE
1 OZ ANCHOVY VERMOUTH
1/2 OZ LIME JUICE
3/4 OZ SIMPLE SYRUP
SHAKE OVER ICE, STRAIN INTO A ROCKS GLASS OVER ICE, AND GARNISH WITH AN ORANGE WHEEL.

We had this crazy idea - let's put anchovies in a vermouth. Anchovies are packed with umami, the perfect compliment to a dirty, filthy martini. We paired that with fish sauce for a little funk, shiitake mushrooms for their savory-boosting ability, and a variety of hand-selected botanicals to provide depth and complexity, all infused into a base of Paso Robles Chardonnay made from organic grapes and brandy. The result is an oddly delicious dry vermouth that's bursting with umami. Use a splash of it in a dirty martini to make it absolutely filthy, add a few ounces to a bloody mary, or mix it up into mezcal or whiskey cocktails for an unexpected shift in flavor.
